My wife and I just moved to our dream homestead in North Carolina, and got my 24 chicks in the brooder on Thursday. I lam looking forward to sharing information and getting to know like minded people. I am sorta kinda a retired teacher (still teaching online) and my wife is a retired RN. Best wishes!!!

I got 8 Rhode Island Red Hens (hopefully),8 Barred Rocks, & 8 Black Austrolorps from a great breeder in Spartanburg, SC. My goal is 2 roosters and 15 or so hens. Pictures will follow.
