We've been lurking around BYC all year long and are so thankful for all of the information. This is our first year raising chickens. Our hens include 3 Ameraucanas, 2 Buffs, and 1 Maran. We (unintentionally) also ended up with a Maran roo and a Buff roo. We're not exactly sure what will become of these 2, but we're going to try our best to keep them. We are located in an area of Decatur, Ga known as Panthersville. The chickens are the latest addition to our garden and self-sufficient efforts!
