Hi, my name is Erik and I live in east Tennessee. I used to raise game fowl but they were too much hassle to keep them with all the pens to keep them separated, the money I invested into them and never got anything back out of them, and they are too much work. My dad has always raised "farm" chickens and I have seen him order from about every hatchery available and I have seen about every kind of chicken possible. I am in college and I want to get my hobby of having some nice, quality chickens back again but I think I am going to follow in his foot steps and get some "nice" chickens that get along. I might order some assorted rare breeds from somewhere. I like seeing different kinds of fowl mingling when it is feed time 
. I joined this site to make friends and maybe find someone who has something that might interest me. My dad currently raises Salmon Faverolles, Blue cochins, and Golden laced cochins, all standard. He lets the breeds mingle together and he comes up with some booted, bearded, big fluffy birds. Feel free to message me for friendly talk anytime.
