As the title says, I've been creepin' here for a little bit just reading this and that. I figured it was time for an introduction of myself and my flock. Not a huge flock. And I've only recently decided to stick with silkies. I like their personality.

At the moment, I have two white roos. (I believe they're roos. Not 100% certain. They are only right about 3 months old.) I have a black roo, a black hen, and a splash hen.

The two blacks and splash are new and still in quarantine. When I got them they were all covered in mites, and we're sneezing and coughing real bad.

I also have an Easter Egger hen with my white silkies. That one is my oldest sons. He loves that chicken!

Below are a few pictures of my chickens and their coop/run.

Sorry the pictures are not amazing. My phones camera ain't the best.

I'll be picking up four more silkies tomorrow. I'll be getting two blues, a dark buff, and another black. They all will be going in the brooder. I'm going to have to build one tonight or get a plastic tote and go that route. I'm undecided at the moment on that. I'll take some pictures and post them when I get home with them.

Anyways. I'm off to creepin' again.

Your flock is very pretty. They look quite happy. And your coop is cute! I like it.

Glad you could join the flock! I have loved looking at your pics that is lovely flock you have there. Many of us were lurkers before joining up. I was one for 2 years and so wish I had done it sooner. Wishing you the very best of luck in the future with your expanding flock. Mountain peeps has left you some great links to check out.

Hi, welcome to BYC!

Your son looks like he is having a good time with the chickens, thanks for sharing all the photos.

Good luck with your flock!

Thanks again. My son loves them. He will get out and hold every last one of them. Kiss on them and love on them. We just got our three new babies today and it is killing him that he cam touch, hold, and play with them. Haha.
