. I think this is one of the best sites ever. I can't believe how much I have learned. I do notice that sometimes there are hurt feelings, but that can't be helped as we are all human and do things differently. I just glean what I can and believe me, there's a lot of brilliant people on this site, Actually everyone on this site is. Some are just a little more assertive than others. As for me, I'm a new egg, and only brilliant because I own poultry (some people would disagree with me, however, Ha ha

) The first time I posted on here I offended someone, and only had one reply and that was about dressing out muscovy ducks, I was told to to go to the meat site, so I have a lot to learn. I really don't want to upset anyone so that's why I'm a little shy about asking questions on here.
I am so sorry, this is supposed to be about welcoming you, CLOVERLEAF FLOCK, AND I KNOW YOU'LL BE VERY HAPPY HERE.

However, I do have some questions of my own, since I am older and computer illiterate. I can't figure out how to do my profile, Where do I enter about, my animals, hubby etc.. as it shows up on other posts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to start posting and I have so many questions. I try to look them up first, because I'm sure they have probably been answered elsewhere, it's just very time consuming. something I never seem to have enough of. Again, welcome to BYC. It's a wonderful place to be.

dont worry about asking questions, and dont let anyone offend you with their answers. there are about as many ways to raise chickens as there are people who own chickens. i stress all the time what works for me may not work for someone else. for instance, when you ask about an illness, i will tell you what i do to treat the problems. but always pay attention to the other people too, someone else may have better advice.

to add to the bottom of your post from here: (assuming our screens appear the same)

scroll to the top of the page, click on your name on the right corner of the screen, bold black print.

about half way down the page, in large red print "your forum signature" click on edit signature in the blue box. you will probably have to scroll down

type what you want to say

when you are done, click preview (like submit button on bottom of this page)

then click save on the next page. and your done!
