We are starting our family farm, with chickens :) we raise Partridge Cochins in east Texas. I Look forward to interacting and learning with all of you.

Glad you could join the flock! Wishing you the very best of luck with your family farm, I'm sure you will thoroughly enjoy the experience. You have come to the right place for all the learning and chicken chat. Is that your coop in your avatar? I love the colour!! I have some wonderful pink paint for my brooder shed which I'm going to apply as soon as the weather is dry enough.

Glad you could join us! I've never raised Partridge Cochins before, but they certainly are beautiful birds. I've kept some bantam Cochins before, and really enjoyed their temperaments.

Yes it's is our starter coop. It's barn red and egg yolk yellow :) closest Ive come to being artistic ever.
