(1) We are fairly new to chickens....about 2 years....and learning more every day!
(2) Our aviary consists of about 30 chickens, 15 button quails, and a cockatiel.
(3) We have buff / lavendar orpingtons, barred rock, seramas, welsummers, black marans, golden laced wyandottes, polish, speckled sussex, leghorn bantam, olive eggers, and ameraucanas.
(4) We found out about BackYardChickens.com in our research regarding the various chicken breeds and found it to be very useful.
(5) We also enjoy renovating our ranch, working in the garden, music, sports, and homeschooling.
(6) We love animals and would love to have more....next, we are looking forward to raising goats and possibly ducks!
