Hellooo!!
A shiny newbie over here!

Not just to this site, I got my first chickens in February this year. I started off with 2 Black Rocks and 2 Light Sussex. "That will be enough for the 2 of us." I said. Then we went back for 2 Hy-lines! "No more! We really don't need any more now."
So anyway, one of my Black Rocks went broody last month and she has hatched 5 chicks this week! EEK!!

I couldn't ask for a better mummy!

I just want to say a big thank you to Backyard Chickens. Whenever I have Googled a question I needed answering (which is a lot!!) I have always found the answers right here.
