I don't have any chickens yet, working on it. My husband is not 100% on board yet. He is worried about our dogs barking at them.
The breeds I'm looking into are Orpington and Australorps.
I am looking forward to caring and feeding of the chickens to provide my family with fresh eggs and fertilizer for my garden.
I love to garden. I would rather be in the garden doing chores than in the house don't chores..

I found BYC about 4 years ago I think when I first started looking into chickens. I joined today because I am starting to prepare for getting chickens.
