(1) Are you new to chickens (no) / when did you first get chickens? (9 years ago)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? (90)
(3) What breeds do you have? (All sorts a mix of egg layers and meat breeds also have 20 turkeys, 6 guinea fowl, and 16 ducks)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? (The daily routine of keeping them happy and healthy, and not to mention all the rewards, lots and lots of eggs)
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
(raising cattle and goats, woodworking, and gardening)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. (family of four living on a 25 acre farm in SW missouri, we have 12 cats and 3 dogs, my wife is a stay at home mom and I am a sheriff's deputy)
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
(just found it today looking up ideas for floating duck islands for our two ponds, looks to be filled with lots of knowledge and information)
