Hello Everyone

I am new to this forum and found this website searching for information about chickens. I was given 3 hens just recently, one of whom had been picked on. She has a healed wound on her head and lost one eye, but seems to be doing fine now. I haven't had chickens in years! Now retired and living in SC. I found out I'm allowed to have up to 6 hens in my backyard. I've bought and put together a chicken coop and added an additional run as I have dogs and can't free range them. Decided to join as I found myself coming back here often for information. Thanks to all that have provided such great info.

I am glad your hens have a better home now!
I live in North Central Florida. I have visited SC in recent past, beautiful scenery.
