Hello, I am new to BYC, and new to raising chickens in general. Feel free to call me Aqua, Aquatic, etc. Pretty excited, and I would say what types of chicks I have, but we honesty have no idea (Got them on one of those fun chick days). Hopefully you all can help me out once I get better pics on them since they have more feathers now!

I finally joined as it seems most of my search engine questions about chickens were answered on this website. =)

Right? They are so much fun to watch! Glad you are enjoying your chickens, too! I find myself spending even more time just watching all the interesting things they do! We got ours on April 23rd, the last of the chick days and they were each 25 cents so that was awesome =)

I find it incredibly relaxing to sit and watch them chicken. I like their independence and chicken competence! They are so funny. I love my bold/sassy Wyandottes the best. I like that even though they are dependent on me for some things they otherwise aren't oriented to me. It's a break from dog relationships. I've cuddled them but they don't need me to do it.
