(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We have had our baby chicks since april and were only 2 weeks old then.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?we now have 3. 1 rooster,2 hens
(3) What breeds do you have?our rooster is a lavendar orpington and our hens are a americana and a australorp
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?it has been a learning experience for us as we never had imagined raising chickens and during the pandemic we decided to be a rural as we possibly could by living within city limits.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I make stainless steel cups, shirts, window decals
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We are a family of 5, we have 2 fish, a cat and a dog. Plus our 3 chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
i was looking on google and found yall. After loosing 3 hens last month i have been searching for a group that may be able to share experiences or help with guidance going forward
