Thanks for having me here! I have a total of 8 hens right now and they are all new to us…we’ve had chickens from chick age before but this go ‘round we adopted some older ones in two batches. We now have 3 that are likely around 2 years and 5 that are about 16 weeks. I’ve had chickens now for about 14 years and still feel like a newbie. I’ve already got questions! Look forward to hanging out here!

Black copper marans, Plymouth Rock, Wyandotte, the rest are Easter eggers and/or americaunas (so I’m told-I’m a little unsure really)

If their legs are green they are EEs.

Interesting! I’ll have to check that out tomorrow! This new flock is giving me a run for the money with health and behavior. I think I’ll be on here a lot for awhile seeking wisdom
