Started raising chickens at 5 years old.

8 Roosters and 19 hens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Red Stars, Marans, Americanas, and a few we aren’t sure what breeds they are yet. We ordered eggs and incubated them. We have always had Rhode Island Reds, but wanted new colors in our flock.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Gardening, self sustaining, canning,sewing, making dolls, sculpting, reborns, collecting and selling Collectables.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have a small homestead. Dogs and chickens. Retired.
