A few years ago we started a small hobby farm, so still pretty new to farming...
Last year we've settled down on some Wheaten Ameraucanas and Lavender Australorps, I love them for their sweet personalities, dual purpose and of course the beautiful color of the eggs. This year we added some black and blue Marans (can you tell I love the blue in chickens lol?)
This year's additions are some Cayugas and Dewlap Toulouse Geese.
We spend a lots of time with our livestock that we treat as pets, and our birds get along with our sheep, goats, pigs, cats and dogs. I'm just living my dream! Hope to meet like minded people here!
