A little about myself - I live in SE Kansas, just turned 40 and have been married to my hubby for 14 years now. My son is 10 and my daughter is 8. We just moved into a new house a month ago (actually it's an old house but it's new to us). Along with the house came 14 wonderful acres and 6 chickens! The chickens are about 18 months old and very gentle - 5 barred rocks and 1 light brahma. I promised the kids that we would get some day-old chicks in the spring. I can hardly wait!

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about raising chickens.
