My name is Michael and I am from Northwest Indiana. I have about 90 chickens all different breeds, started back in October 2010. I joined this forum hoping to get information or help suggestions when needed, and to meet other chicken hobbiest like myself, and to see when all of the events or poultry auctions that is close enough for me to go to. I have been to the sale in Lowell IN and Walkerton IN and am looking for others to attend nearby if there are any?
I am 28 years old and have been laid off for approx. 4 months, I have worked for the last 15 years. Since I have been laid off this is my new hobby and I love it. I was in the military from 2002 til may 2010 and I have served 1 year in Iraq 03-04.
