Hey y'all, we are newbies too. We have 1 brown-leghorn hen, 4 red stars. A pig (of which I have no idea what we are gonna do with)we rescued and morecats than sense and afew dogs here and there. I love our birds so much. I am entertaining the thought of a few barred rocks,however NO roosters my kids have both been spurred and we will not repeat the experiance. What we want are great layers of brown eggs.So, any advice is great. Thanks.
