I would like to thank you all for this great board..I have been looking around for a few weeks now..I'm the new mother to 4 chicks..I have 2 Plymouth Barred Rock named Abby and Ziva..I got them on 4-13-12 ..And then on 4-21-12 I came home with Alicia she is a Delaware also Kalinda a Sliver Laced Wyandotte..I have some pictures that I will post if that's ok..My husband has been kind enough to build a coop and a pen for them..And this week-end I purchased 4 nesting boxes that would be easy to keep clean..I was told at the feed store that what I have to feed them i would use till they are 18 / 20 weeks old..Then I will put them on laying food..
I would have never dreamed that I could fall in love with these girls..I know that I'm going to be asking all kinds of dumb questions and I hope that ya'll will bare with me..Do I need to put them on any kind of worm treatment? I had read about something called DE food grade..But I changed my mind about it..Any and all info would be very helpful..
Hope I can post pictures..
The 1st is Abby 2nd is Ziva the 3rd Alicia and 4th Kalinda. These are baby pictures..Then one of the pen and the last of the nesting boxes..

The pen and the coop do both have a clear roof on them..
