Been looking at this site a few months now and lots of good stuff on here. I don't have chickens yet but am in the process of builing an 8x8 coop with a large run for them and also free range them. I'm hoping to have about 15 chickens or so for laying. I'm excited to get this ball rolling and have my kids help in the process. I'm married with one 5 year old boy and a 3 month old daughter. My son can't wait to get chickens as well. My friend down the road has some and got me to thinking I should have some as well. They'll be a good addition to my gardening and hunting to make those grocery store visits a little "cheaper". Hope to learn a bunch from this site!
