I'm a farmers wife from North Dakota and have been raising chickens for about 3 years. In saying that I know that there is so much more out there for me to learn. Cant wait to hear what everyone has to say..

Welcome! You'll meet so many nice people here. =)

North Dakota is beautiful. We took a train from here (Vermont) to Seattle (where I grew up) a couple of summers ago with the kids and on the way out we detrained in Williston, ND for a few days and rented a car to explore the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The day we left to continue on to Seattle, the train was running very late so we spent the afternoon at the playground in Williston, ate at DQ, and enjoyed that lovely little city.

I moved here after meeting and marrying my husband who was born here. Im from Arizona so these cold winters are something to get use to. Going on 3 years and I wouldn't change it for the world!! Its been a huge learning curve for me raising animals here. I have cattle, horses(they came with me), and chickens. Soon to have pigs and goats just gotta convince my farm boss!! LOL Hoping to learn lots of good tips.
