I am so excited to finally be apart of BYC. I am still trying to learn my way around the website. I posted several different threads on the wrong thread. Ooops!! Still trying learn the "thread" thing. Thank you to the people who helped guide me in the right direction. I have 4 hens and 1 rooster and they are all Buff Orpingtons. (Thelma, Louise, Dottie, Daisy and Mr. Roo) I absolutely love this breed! I have have been raising chickens for about 2 years now. I first started raising broiler chickens (bad choice)
and then started raising chickens for egg production. I am in the process in building a newer coop so my chickens will be happy and it will be easier for me to clean. I am from the Dallas, Tx area and I love gardening, farming, and raising chickens.
