I am new to BackYard Chickens and excited to have people to "talk chicken" with. I have chicks, guineas, and turkeys. Our family also has a Nigerian Goat, German Shepherd, and numerous cats. We also raise Lionheads. I have two girls, ages two and four. My goal for them is to have good work ethic and appreciate animals for everything they offer. I look forward to talking to everyone and gaining knowledge.

I have Barred Rocks, Buff Orpington, and Rhode Island Reds which are almost 2 months old. In the brooders I have Easter Eggers, Salmon Faverolles, German Spitzhaubens, Black Jersey Giants, Egyptian Fayounis, Buff Brahamas, Blue Polish, also some Guineas and two Turkeys. A little bit of everything The learning center has been super helpful. Do you have a favorite type of chicken?

Chasitiy, you have some of the same chickens we do (Barred Rock, Easter Egger and Rhode Island Reds). We also have Speckled Sussex, Black Austrolorps and Red Sex Links. Love them all, can't play favorites you know!
