Hello Everyone,
I am Red Rodeo, but you can all call me Red for short. I am new to owning chickens. I currently have 5 polish chicks and I am planning on purchasing some Silkie hatching eggs once I find my self an incubator. I am easy to talk to and anyone can ask me anything. I am a fairly open person. So if you would like to know something please, feel free to ask me. I guess that is pretty much me.

Welcome to BYC, Red. Glad you decided join our flock. Polish and Silkies are both very docile breeds that will get along fabulously together. However I wouldn't recommend trying to keep them with other standard sized breeds as they will likely get picked on and take a beating. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Polish and in hatching your Silkie eggs.

Hi Red, nice to meet you. Once your silkies hatch and mature, you may find yourself with natural incubators. They generally have strong broody inclinations.
