Hello! I recently adopted 5 sexlinks hens from the Animal Place in Grass Valley. They were rescued from a pasture based laying farm. They are 2 years old and surprisingly friendly for being from an egg laying facility. They are as tame and friendly as the chickens I raised from chicks many years ago. I am so happy to have chickens in my life once again!
