I have had chickens now for about a year. I never saw myself raising chickens or even thought about it until we moved to a new state and got land. Then last year on a whim I bought 4 "pullets", 2 of whom turned out to be roosters and one died before we knew for sure. I bought my first chickens from a lady that sold them at the farmers market. We ended up buying some fully frathered hens from her later. Now I'm diving into the world of baby chicks, incubating and breeding. I keep ending up on this page for answers to questions I google, so I figured it was time to join.
