Hello everyone,
I'm Heather - I live in a suburb of Kansas City, MO and have a small coop that started as a 3-chicken home. Two of them turned out to be roosters and had to go live elsewhere since city codes prevent my having guys in the hen house. I asked some farmer friends whether they had any past-prime girls they wouldn't mind moving to my suburban coop to keep my remaining hen, a Rhode Island Red, company.
It didn't proceed as planned (more on that in another post).
Just wanted to stop by and say hello, and I am happy to be joining your ranks.
Have a great day, everybody!
Heather
