Good evening friends!!!
My name is Tiffany and I’m new to this website. After receiving a lot of helpful advice, I’ve decided to join! We had chickens when I was a kid but now that I’m grown, I’ve decided to raise ducks!
We have seven ducks for now (we hope to hatch some babies of our own this Spring), we should have nine but we lost 2 to a bobcat.
Our babies names are Washy (Pekin-hen), Emperor (Cayuga-drake), Edward (Rouen-drake), Hercules (Rouen-drake), Florence (Blue Swedish-hen), and Kasey (Blue Swedish-drake). The solo picture is our first rescue, he was found in the road and wouldn’t walk or fly. His name is Gingy or 2Stroke because he sounds like a 2 stroke dirt bike. He is a Red Head drake and fairly young as he still has some of his downy feathers where he should have big boy feathers.
I work two jobs and when I’m not working, I’m spending time with these sweet babies. I also will be starting school soon to be a vet tech and hopefully become a veterinarian.
