Hello from a newbie in TX!

Hey there!

I'm new to all of this really - got the chicken itch and just had to scratch it and now I am a nervous mama, so I've been lurking here and figured it couldn't hurt to flat out ask questions and gather opinions from time to time. Currently we have 11 baby chicks in the living room among other things! I figured if I could keep tropical fish alive for a few years this whole chicken thing couldn't be too hard, right? Well, maybe I was wrong, but so far it's been a blast! K, that's it, trying to keep it short and sweet!
