My name is Chas and I have lived in a small town for the past five years. (Before that I lived in small city.) Now I am malking my way to a farming community. I will have plenty of questions and not too much time. My family would like to move to our plot in Missouri from New Jersey in a years time.

There is one thing I know: I would like Chickens, Ducks and Peahens.

Hope to be here a while.

Hi :welcome Chas

Glad you could join the flock! It all sounds very exciting for you at the moment becoming a farmer. Have you checked out the learning centre? Lots of great articles on getting started with chickens and there is a section on other backyard poultry too. Including ducks and peafowl. Here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Wishing you the very best of luck in getting started on this wonderful new adventure. Be sure to ask any questions that you may have, everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC :frow

Welcome to BYC, Chas! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Definitely don't hesitate to ask any questions you have. We are happy to help. I love chickens, peas and ducks too! I've only raised chickens but I've had plenty of experience with peas and ducks on my grandparents' farm where I first fell in love with poultry. Feel free to check out the learning center. There is a great "Other Poultry" section in there that you will probably enjoy. Good luck!

Nice to meet you Chas, hope you will enjoy your new home. At least it's comforting to know you can find chickens, ducks, pea fowl almost anywhere.
