Hello from Alberta, Canada

Technical difficulties aside. Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our gang of fine feathered friends.
chicken 3.png Good idea to get as much information as you can before you start your flock. Best of luck and have fun!

Thanks Sour.

I've dropped a line to Sumi to see what's going on.

@Kholts sorry for interrupting your intro with technical difficulties!

Haha that’s no problem. Thank you for trying to help either way! The last link I received ended up working so I entered the contest :)

We had been having a great winter (didn’t dip below -25 and decent amount of snow) up until 2 weeks ago. Since then it’s been a deep freeze. In 14 days we had only 1 day where it was warmer than -30 degrees Celsius. Today the temp is reading -32 I have no idea what our wind chill is today. It was sort of expected I guess.... February is known as our fickilist month.

Im guessing you got a ton of snow if your husband has to dig out the coop lol! Have you been keeping your flock somewhere else or were they held up in the coop?

They’re all in the coop and getting a bit of cabin fever, but they get lots of treats and just look forward to the summer
