This site is filled with such great information, I had to join!! We are new to raising and owning chickens and we wouldn't have done as well as we did without some of the information we gathered here! Thanks to all who helped in our success.
We have no purpose in raising chickens other than for our own family entertainment of owning another pet. It was all my daughters idea to try and "hatch" these chicken eggs that she helped her grandpa collect from a neighbor on Easter. She helped me build a homemade incubator and long story short, we now have 4 beautiful chanteclers in our backyard!!
