But I have this 3 yo hen now that lays on rotten eggs!! I have no rooster!!
And she keeps laying there on em!!
I'm confused so I don't even know if she drinks or eat at all!!?
Today I moved her to get one egg ( all mad at me) grab one break it to the fence post
And boom it explodes!!!
Got some in my EYES!!!
I'm freakin out a little
What's goin on here ?
Should I go see a doc ?

Hens will set for long periods of time even if their eggs are infertile. Throw all of the eggs away - very carefully. Your eye should be fine. The stench may linger for several days.

i would wash out your eyes well, with a saline eye wash. but you are probably fine. watch for any signs of infections.

your hen is just broody, you dont need a rooster for them to go broody. its caused by a change in the hormone progesterone, and is pretty much uncontrollable. there are things you can do to break a broody hen, putting them on wire with no nest box sometimes works. if you use sorghum in your feed, and can cut it back - it may help. take all the eggs from her, and keep them removed daily. the eggs are fine to eat as long as they dont float in water. (i would throw all the first days eggs away just in case).

hens typically wont set if they dont feel secure, and they don't have enough eggs for a clutch. (a clutch is the hen's idea of how many eggs are worth her while for lack of better description)

Wow very good and thank you sooo much
That was very nice of you to help me
I'm so amazed !!
Didn't expect that at all
Wow lol
I'm gonna go now and move that retarded hen
Up in that tree , where the other one sleep
Best regards!
Eric

Possibility there maybe a personality clash. We know some women can't get along. I doubt you would appreciate that chicken pecking at your eggs . Hard boil a couple of eggs and let her do her thing.
