Hello, new to the site and to raising chickens. I've only have been raising now for 6 months. Started off with Rhode Island Reds and Bantams, since I live in a city had to make some changes once the roosters learned to crow. Took them to a Livestock auction made very good money so came home with 24 more chics. Really dont know about all the breeds but am learning. Have got 9 eggs am very excited. I started with 3 cornish mix and was planing on cooking them but then didnt have the heart to kill them so they are kinda pets, VERY over weight though about 15 lbs. Not sure what to do. I do enjoy having them and they are about as spoiled as the dogs..Also have 2 turkey's, .....but looking forward to talking to everyone and learning from you as well. Will posts pics, my niece said have one that is rare, but not like I know.
