Hey everyone! Glad there’s a community for my fellow backyard chicken owners here and just wanted to say hello!
My wife and I took on chickens and started with 3 originally. Our yard is large enough (about .25 acres) to let them free range with little to no threats to worry about in this neighborhood (other than the threat of chickens to our garden haha). We lost two of the original three but have since acquired more.
We live in the SF Bay Area in California and now own 6 chickens (potentially +1 depending on the rightful owner coming forward or us finding out if it’s a rooster).
