Hello from Arizona

I’m attempting my fourth little flock of chickens after a two year break. I had a rough start with predators, grumpy neighbors and heat losses. My kids cried & I cried but here I am again to learn from my mistakes and from other people who are wise in the chicken ways. I’ll have a mixed flick of 7 birds and I’m hoping to try ducks, too.

My hubby and i ended up in Oregon but we have property near the GC. Not enough natural water there for us but my heart lives there anyways. What part of AZ are you from?

I forgot to say i am new, too. 2 silver wyandottes, 3 gold wyandottes all two weeks old. 3 lakenvelder and 3 buff orpingtons. 6 bantam d'uccle milleflor on order.

we are in st helens. Our daughter and sil live and work in Portland. We LOVE it here!!
