Hello All...
My wife and I have dove into the backyard chicken hobby. We have a mixture of Astralops and Rhoad Island Reds. All about 10 weeks old and doing great. We also have 1 Australop Rooster that is 20 weeks old. He is already being a gentleman and letting them eat first, drink first and even going out of his way to point out crickets or bananas to the hens. We have 2 ducks as well but not sure of the species.
I have learned a lot by just reading articles and posts here on BYC. There is tons of information and I read it.
Our grandson is one and like to her the rooster crow but keeps his distance.
