(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

• I am very new to chickens and I am currently waiting on approval from HOA before I start on my coop!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

• I want to have 2-4 hens right now.

(3) What breeds do you have?

• Great question! I want some French Black Copper Maran (for supposedly very tasty eggs!), Leghorn, and Plymouth Rock!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

• I think it's being able to get fresh eggs straight from your backyard

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

• I am a very urban person! I like watching/investing stock market, going hiking, and swimming.

I am looking for places where I can purchase French Black Copper Maran in Texas! Let me know if you know a good place!

lol i have budgies too. i only have one chick so they keep him busy. just that he fights with them and the budgies bite his feathers.

Thank you! I checked and they are not in Texas unfortunately! We have Tractor Supply in Texas but they don’t sell the breed I’m looking for.

Thanks! I'm looking for a pullet hen (HOA doesn't allow rooster) but I may need to resort to chicks if I can't find any!
