Hello from Boonsboro, Maryland

Hello,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I live just outside of Boonsboro, Washington County, Maryland. I grew up on a farm, but never paid much attention to the chickens unless it was to water, feed, gather eggs or kill one for supper! I just got 6 pullets from TSC last night and am going to raise some layers. I picked up 3 Golden Comets and 3 Tetra Tints. I will get busy on a tractor coop and have it ready when they are. Anyway, I've been lurking awhile and there seems to be a great amount of knowledge here and I'm looking forward to participating.

I about dropped when I saw "Boonsboro"

You should try and make Chickenstock in Martinsburg next month if you get a chance. http://wvchickenstock.blogspot.com/ I help organize it with a few other Bycers and it's a lot of fun. We advertise to the public so we get a good amount of people who stop out.
