Hello,
I heard about this site from a fellow chicken keeper! Like many of the online forums that I frequent, you all seem very help full!
Soooo, a bit about me................
I am a wife and mother or 2 wonderfull little girls 3 1/2 and 2 years old. We have a little 6 1/4 acre farm, we are trying to get as back to basics as we can. We have 3 horses, a shire stallion and his son a shire x QH, and a oversized mini that my daughters ride. We also have 3 jersey cows and a 4 month old heifer, I milk my cows and we drink our own milk, I make my own butter, cheese and ice cream. Then we have a llama and 2 goats, they are just pets and keep us always laughing! I have a small flock of mostly buff cochins, but a few other breeds as well. I am in the process of swiching over to columiba rocks. I have bought a hobavator incubator, and am I expecting my second hatch on saturday the 6th. I am looking forward to adding some beltsville small white turkeys to our farm very soon!!! I also have a veggie garden and a few fruit trees.
