Hi every body at BYC , this is a wonderful place to be thankyou all to build a forum to help all Chicken lovers.
I am raising chickens for about 7 years i do sell eggs and chickens in my neighbourhood I always have 60 plus chickens and about 7 roosters, about 50 baby chicks for later
eggs production I always buy baby chicks from Mc Murray hatchery. I live on 1 acre lot in Palmdale,California . I keep RIR,NHR,Black Star,Red Star,Whiteleghorn all for eggs. I always get some baby chicks from diffrent breeds. Some chickens I got they are 4 Standard Old English Game hens and 1 Cochin hen .
Big problem is now they are very broody I have to fight to get the eggs from them should I make seperate pens for each of them or keep them (OEG)and Cochin in just one and let them hatch some eggs .can I keep all five hens in one area. I never had a broody hen before. PLEASE ADVISE .
