Hello from central Ohio!

Today is the big day! We are picking up a dozen day old Buckeye Chickens. Very excited to get started. I found backyardchickens.com when researching the Buckeye Chicken breed, I love all the information on this site and the q&a from other people have been very informative. We have our brooder all ready to go and my husband has started building the coop and getting that set up for when they are ready to move outside. I have 2 little girls (2 and 4) and they are almost as excited as we are about getting their own little chicks!
