Hi there everyone my name is Simone...just a quick intro and im off to check everything out...i have at the moment two very lovely hens...they are my families pets and friends..their names are Heny Penny..she is very ill at the moment after suffering a horrible dog attack.. and Lolly Hen..so im off to find a thread that can help me with some advice and support on dealing with my poor girl and her injuries..cheers Simone..

Welcome to BYC. If there are puncture wounds from the dog, flush them with a 50-50 water/betadine solution. Then pack the wounds with an antibiotic ointment (without pain reliever.) Dont bandage the wounds. Treat other wounds the same way. Good luck.
