My husband and I decided to get chickens last December and we devoured any and all info we could get on the subject. Much of it came from this site. We finally ordered our chicks from mypetchixken and a coop from eBay. The coop came right away but we had to wait til April for the chicks. As of now our sex link Rosie has been laying for 3 weeks every day and the silver laced Wyandotte just started 3 days/eggs ago. Now just waiting on our 2 buff orpys RIR and gold laced Wyandotte to get with the program. I never imagined how much fun and contentment we would get out of our flock. Thanks for sharing!
