My husband's latest crazy whim was to get some chickens. So three weeks ago we got 6 one week old chicks. We have 2 araucanas, 2 RIR, a silver leghorn and a white leghorn. The lady we bought them from had some extras from her hatchery order. The araucanas and the leghorns are pullets. She accidently ordered the RIRs straight run, and we think one of the reds might be a roo.
In addition to the chicks we have 3 kids (twins that are 3.5 and a six month old), a large dog, 2 cats and 3 fish.
