I'm new here to this forum. I have week old buff Orpington chicks. I'm raising them for eggs and also as family pets. I have 5 of them, including a cute little runt. This is the start of my urban farm yard as I live in metro Denver.
Your state thread is worth joining as you will get to know other BYC members in your area (just type your state in the search box). In fact, the search box should become your best friend
Lastly but by no means least, the members here are amazing - very friendly and helpful, so if you need an answer to a question or simply want some reassurance that what you are doing is ok, then post away - we all help each other out here at BYC.
My parents lived in Denver for over 40 years, it was a nice surprise to find out you all are allowed to have backyard flocks. Hope you are enjoying them!
