Hello! I just found BYC yesterday and did a lot of reading last night. Very interesting, i thought I knew a lot about chickens untill I got on here! It is nice to know there is always more to learn...
OK, here is my little introduction:
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I grew up with chickens, but last year I got my first flock of my own. It had been about seven years since I had any.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
umm lets see, 9 I guess. And 40 in the incubator...hopefully!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Partridge Rocks and Cochin
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I guess I just found it in a search
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Art, gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married to a wonderful man who puts up with all my obsessions, and works very hard so that I can stay home and take care of my three kiddos, ages 4, 2 and 6 months. We also have three bunnies and two dogs.
