(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to them, I was given two silkies a little over a year ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently I have just the two silkies (Red and Pepper). I am very bad at names. Red appears a sandy red color hence her name, and Pepper is pure black.
(3) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
After receiving Red and Pepper, I wasn't to sure how to care for them, so I Googled "chickens" and "backyard", and there this site was.
(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Well as far as pets currently at home are Red and Pepper, a pekingese(Sasha) and a Degu(Rep). I have a younger brother that can't have enough lizards. He has monitors, iguanas, snakes, tarantulas, 2 cats, and a huge fat frog. Both my younger sisters also have cats. The four of us do not live together, but if we did i think we would need a licence to operate a zoo, LOL.
