Yes first small flock of three, a Barred, a Leghorn, and a Silkie. Hope they are females, they are now about 6 weeks old. I love animals but have never been a big bird fan but have to admit they have won me over. I have had so much fun with them so far

So glad you could join BYC! Thanks for sharing that photo of your chicks. Looks like you have a nice variety of breeds! Silkies are such cute little birds and the Leghorn and Barred Rock should be excellent layers.

It would be so much better if you had individual photos of the chicks, they are all looking down . Very hard to see any breed characteristics or gender previews. Does your Barred rock have a white spot on the head?
